Glamour and glory abound at King George Day, Ascot’s midsummer prestige event. The days showpiece race The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth QIPCO Stakes has long been regarded as Europe’s premier midseason middle-distance championship race for horses of both sexes and all ages.

Join us in the exclusive Furlong Club, a private marquee with its very own trackside viewing balcony, bar and seating area. Located in perfect viewing distance of the finishing straight, the private terrace offers an ideal opportunity to soak up the electrifying atmosphere with a welcoming glass of Champagne, whilst watching the thrilling racing action. Combining world-class Flat racing with a quintessential English garden party experience, it is an unmissable event steeped in history and synonymous with style.

  • Car park label (1 per 2 guests booked)
  • King Edward VII Enclosure Admission Ticket.
  • Hospitality within the Furlong Restaurant on private tables for 10 – 12 guests (smaller numbers accommodated on a shared basis).
  • A welcoming glass of selected Champagne served on arrival.
  • Complimentary bar of selected beers, wines, mainline spirits and soft drinks served throughout the day (until 30 minutes after the start of the last race).
  • Four-course set luncheon.
  • Traditional afternoon tea.
  • Ascot race card & racing newspapers available.

Further Information

11:00 Gates open. Guests are invited to make their way to The Furlong Club located next to the main Grandstand, close to the Bandstand and Parade Ring. Please proceed up to the entrance and provide your company name (used at time of booking) and you will be guided to your table for the day.
– A glass of Champagne will be served upon arrival. Complimentary bar of selected beers, wines, mainline spirits and soft drinks opens.
From 12:00 Four course set luncheon is served.
13:50 First race commences.
From 15:30 Traditional afternoon tea is served.
15:40 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
17:20 Last race commences.
17:50 Bar closes 30 minutes after the start of the last race.
– Restaurant closes and all guests depart.

Ladies should dress for a smart occasion. Hats or fascinators are preferred but not mandatory. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket with a collared shirt and tie. Trainers are not permitted. Children aged 17 and under should adhere to the dress code; however this does not apply to very young children. Please note that fancy dress, novelty and branded or promotional clothing is not permitted.
