STONE ROSES

Saturday June 17, 2017

Pitch View Restaurant, Wembley Stadium

Ian Brown, John Squire, Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield and Alan ‘Reni’ Wren are The Stone Roses. One of the pioneering bands of the ‘Madchester’ scene in the late 1980s/early 1990s, their 1989 self-titled debut album is regarded by many as the greatest British album of all time. Their follow-up album, ‘The Second Coming’, was released in 1994 on Geffen, after a long battle with their former label, Silvertone.

The Stone Roses went their separate ways in 1996 after some major differences forced them to split, but, following a 15 year silence, the band put aside their differences for one of the biggest reunion tours in years in 2012, playing shows all over the world.
