Kerry Burbage

2)      How long have you worked at ICE?

2 Years- 7 Months

3)      What did you do before ICE?

Before I came to Imperial Corporate Events I previously worked in hospitality as a team leader in a restaurant.

4)      What’s your job title? 

Event Manager

5)      What are your main duties as Event Manager?

My job role is extremely varied but mainly I manage our high profile events and ensure that they are delivered exactly as planned. A large part of my role is to liaise with our clients to ensure they receive the highest levels of service and the outstanding event experience which they have come to expect from us. I also attend several of our larger events and help manage the client experience during those days too.

6)      What’s the best thing  about working with ICE?

The best thing about working with Imperial is having the opportunity to attend amazing events and meet some high-profile celebrities. One of my favourites was Jimmy Carr, a genuinely nice bloke! I’ve also made several life long friends at Imperial which makes the hard work and long hours much easier!

7)      Out of the events we offer which is your favourite event & why?

My favourite event is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix because the hotel that we use in Dubai is absolutely amazing (The Atlantis). All the staff at the Atlantis are lovely which makes the experience great for both our clients and our staff.

8)      What do you like to do when you’re not working?

I love going to the gym as I find working out relieves stress. I also take any opportunity when I am not working to see my friends and love catching up over a glass of wine!

9)      Tell us one weird or interesting fact about you?

I know every single word to every single Friends episode….. I am that sad!
