The Role
  • We are currently recruiting for an HR Officer to join our team, based in Leicester City Centre. 
  • You will be responsible for the effective operation of the HR function, covering tasks across the full employment lifecycle 
  • You will have previous experience in a stand-alone HR role, or as part of a larger team, where you delivered service excellence across a broad range of HR activities.
  • You will have a passion for developing yourself and others, and you will be an approachable individual who has excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.

DETAILS

Responsibilities
  • Providing HR advice on all HR issues including sickness, disciplinary, performance management and grievances, in line with company policies and current UK legislation
  • Support managers and senior leaders in the management of day to day HR queries and issues
  • Working in partnership with the Internal Recruitment and Onboarding specialist to maximise employee experience 
  • Processing payroll using Sage 
  • Administration of contract amendments 
  • Manage off-boarding process for employees with more than 1 month service, including conducting exit interviews and reporting feedback to appropriate stakeholders
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information 
  • Review and ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and HRIS (PeopleHR)
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Produce reports to the senior leadership on key HR metrics including sickness, performance, ongoing casework and employee engagement, providing insight on root cause and solutions for improvement
  • Manage internal communications using all available channels
  • Administration of company benefits including private healthcare, car parking and gym membership
  • Developing policies, procedures and contracts, in line with changing employment law, liaising with external legal counsel
You should
  • Be minimum Level 3 CIPD Qualified, with 3 years experience in an HR role in a fast paced environment 
  • Be organised with a keen attention to detail.
  • Be able to efficiently use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Be confident in using and managing an HRMS (PeopleHR or Access would be advantageous)
  • Be able to efficiently use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Be a professional and effective communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Have a proven track record of dealing with Employee Relations issues 
  • Have an up to date working knowledge of current employment legislation, as well as an ability to adapt to changing legislation 
  • Have a positive and proactive mindset.
  • Enjoy working within a fun, energetic environment.

Trainee Sales Executive

As a Trainee Sales Executive, you will:
  • Targeting our portfolio of warm leads to generate sales and business referrals
  • Learn and develop knowledge on worldwide sporting and cultural events
  • Account management: develop relationships with existing clients through networking, attending events and client entertainment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet monthly performance targets
  • Be a self starter and able to use initiative
  • Have a positive attitude and be flexible to changing business needs
You'll work from 9am-4pm Monday - Friday, and we offer a very competitive basic salary and 7% uncapped commission on all sales with realistic minimum first year earnings of 25k. Our top Leicester Account Managers earn in excess of 250k per year.

Events Assistant

Job Summary
As an Events Assistant, your duties will include but not be exclusive to:
  • Building strong client/supplier relationships both verbally and in writing including correspondence in the run up to the events
  • Organising the packaging process for the sending out of tickets for scheduled events
  • Attending events on behalf of Imperial Corporate Events - ensuring a positive client experience and managing any special requirements or stipulations
The role will involve frequent travel throughout the UK, wider Europe and on an international basis, including weekends and overnight stays.

We are currently recruiting for an Events Assistant to join our growing and successful team based in Leicester city centre. This is an exciting opportunity to gain or develop experience within the corporate hospitality sector, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
 
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Although experience within the corporate hospitality/events sector isn't essential, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Has experience working with excel, data export etc, mail merge and Microsoft Office packages
