Cheltenham National Hunt Festival – Platinum Suite

Cheltenham Festival is the pinnacle of the jump race calendar, quite simply the Olympic Games of National Hunt racing. Experience four days of magic, with an atmosphere that will make the hairs on the back on your neck. Each day at the festival is unique, from Champion Hurdle day where the excitement is buzzing in the air, to Ladies Day where fashion takes over providing a more subdued and elegant affair. Thursday brings St. Patrick’s Day with the Irish quickly raising the tempo in time for the Gold Cup on Friday, the jewel in the National Hunt Crown.

The superb appointed Platinum marquees are situated in the hub of the newly formed ‘Courtyard’, only 50 metres from the Guinness Grandstand and minutes from the Parade Ring and finishing straight – providing the quintessential ‘Cheltenham Experience’.

10:30 Cheltenham Racecourse and facility opens. Guests are invited to make their way to your allocated Platinum Suite Indicated on your hospitality swing badge located to the left of the guinness Village. The closest entrance to the facility is the North Entrance. Upon arrival at the marquee please quote the company name used at the time of booking and you will be guided to your table for the day.
10:45 Morning coffee and biscuits available.
11:00 A welcoming glass of selected Champagne is available.
– Complimentary bar of selected beers (including Guinness), wines, mainline spirits and soft drinks opens.
12:00 Set four course luncheon is served.
13:30 A programme of first-class National Hunt racing begins.
15:30 Selected afternoon tea is available.
17:30 Final race commences.
– Selected complimentary bar closes at the start of the final race.
18:00 Facility closes & all guests depart.

There is no specific dress code at Cheltenham. Many ladies wear hats, but with the weather in mind. Gentleman usually wear a suit or similar.

Each day is unique from Champion Hurdle day where the excitement is buzzing in the air, to Ladies Day where fashion takes over providing a more elegant affair. Thursday brings St. Patrick’s Day with the Irish quickly raising the tempo for the Gold Cup on Friday, the jewel in the National Hunt Crown.

This elegant restaurant is situated at the heart of The Village next to the buzzing Guinness Village and as its name suggests overlooks the final fence before they race up the hill to the Winning Post. Located on the 2nd floor, offering sumptuous buffet lunch, afternoon tea and balcony viewing for guests to enjoy.

*Club Enclosure is Cheltenham’s most exclusive enclosure with the best viewing offerings. With access to all public areas and spectacular views from the main grandstand, lawn or Winning Post. In addition to paddock viewing access you can enjoy the Hall of Fame and all the public areas of the Princess Royal Stand. The Shopping Village is a must visit for all with over 70 trade stands on offer, there should be something to take your fancy. Throughout racing, there’s plenty of fun to be had, look out for live music in The Centaur and Guinness Village.

10:30 Cheltenham Racecourse opens.
– Guests are invited to make their way to the Final Fence Restaurant situated to the left of the Guinness Village. The most convenient entrance to the facility is the North Entrance (off Southam Lane). If you enter the Racecourse through another entrance please make your way to the Parade Ring area and refer to the map for directions. Please then follow signs for THE FINAL FENCE RESTAURANT. Upon arrival please quote the company name used at the time of booking and you will be guided to your table for the day.

From 12:00 Four course buffet is available.
13:30 First race commences.

The weather can be unpredictable, so we would advise you to dress accordingly. At the festival, many ladies wear hats, but with the weather rather than high fashion in mind. Gentle usually wear a suit or similar in the Club Enclosure.
