Ladies: Dresses and skirts should be of modest length defined as falling just above the knee or longer. Dresses and tops should have straps of one inch or greater. Jackets and pashminas may be worn but dresses and tops underneath should still comply with the Royal Enclosure dress code. Trouser suits are welcome. They should be of full length to the ankle and of matching material and colour. Jumpsuits are welcome. They should be of full length to the ankle, with regulations matching that for dresses. Hats should be worn; however a headpiece which has a solid base of 4 inches (10cm) or more in diameter is acceptable as an alternative to a hat. Gentleman: Gentlemen are kindly reminded that it is a requirement to wear either black or grey morning dress which must include: A waistcoat and tie (no cravats). A black or grey top hat. Black shoes worn with socks. A gentleman may remove his top hat within a restaurant, a private box, a private club or that facility’s terrace, balcony or garden. Hats may also be removed within any enclosed external seating area within the Royal Enclosure Garden. The customisation of top hats (with, for example, coloured ribbons or bands) is not permitted in the Royal Enclosure.

A well-known Royal Ascot feature, the former Furlong Club was transformed in 2018 into a new and spacious Fine Dining restaurant in the Queen Anne Enclosure. Light and airy with lounge areas for guests to retreat to and an expansive viewing deck running its entire length, the Furlong Restaurant offers racegoers a unique dining experience with both seated and grazing dining concepts.

10:30 Ascot Racecourse opens. Guests are invited to make their way to the Furlong Restaurant, situated at the east end of the Grandstand.
11:00 Welcoming glass of Champagne is served & selected complimentary bar opens.
12:00 Signature menu luncheon is served/available at Chefs stations.
14:00 Royal Procession.
14:30 First race.
- Royal Ascot afternoon tea is available.
17:35 Final race commences.
18:05 Selected complimentary bar closes (or 30 minutes after the start of the final race).
- Guests depart the facility for singing around the Bandstand. Facility closes.
21:00 Car Parks close.

Ladies within the Queen Anne Enclosure are encouraged to dress in a manner as befits a formal occasion and are kindly asked to take note: A hat, headpiece/ fascinator should be worn at all times. Strapless/sheer strap dresses and tops are not permitted. Please note the definition of strapless includes off the shoulder, bardot style and one shoulder dresses. Trouser suits and jumpsuits must be full length and worn with a top that adheres to the guidelines above. Midriffs must be covered. Shorts are not permitted. Gentlemen are required to wear a full length suit with jacket and trousers of the same colour and paired with a shirt and tie. Bow ties and cravats are not allowed, socks must be worn.

A modern and informal dining area set within a beautiful track-facing marquee, The Lawn Club provides an elevated decked terrace overlooking the home straight, perfect for viewing the Royal Procession and all the racing action.

Chef station highlights: Gin cured salmon, maple and honey glazed gammon ham, Goat's cheese, red onion and squash tart, salted beef, king prawn and Cornish crab mac 'n' cheese, warm Jersey royal potatoes, lemon posset, chocolate Mogador and a selection of cheeses.

It offers a relaxed atmosphere in a less formal setting with some high and low seating both indoor and outdoor, ideal for socialising. Enjoy a specially selected complimentary bar throughout the day and watch the Grandstand come to life, which acts as a backdrop to trackside race viewing action from the fence.
