BMW PGA Championships Hospitality

The BMW PGA Championship is held at Wentworth Golf Club in Surrey between Thursday the 17th and Sunday the 20th of September 2026. The tournament has been held on Wentworth’s West Course since 1984 and is generally seen as the flagship event of the DP World Tour. It’s the one the European players all want on their CV, played on a course that many of them grew up watching their heroes on. Its position late in the season often gives it a key role in settling the outcome of the Race to Dubai, the tour's season-long order of merit. The field is typically a mix of Ryder Cup players, major champions, and the season’s form players. The course itself is always a factor. The layout of the final few holes, with two par-fives, is known for creating late drama on the Sunday afternoon.

Dress code

The BMW PGA Championships is an outdoor event and subject to weather conditions. There is no specific dress code for spectators in public areas BUT  appropriate footwear is recommended as the ground may be uneven in places.

Getting there

By train - If you’re travelling by train, take advantage of the free regular shuttle service from Virginia Water Station to Wentworth Golf Club, available all day from September 17th to 22nd. Virginia Water is approximately a 40-minute train journey from London Waterloo. We recommend checking train times as your event day approaches. By car - Guests of the BMW PGA Championship can use the complimentary park-and-ride service available to you.
