Eighteen years old and already signed; Adams talked his way into A&M before most teenagers had found their feet.
At just 18, Bryan Adams signed a recording contract with A&M Records in Canada. He had already been gigging around Vancouver, singing in bands and writing songs with Jim Vallance, a partnership that would prove one of the most prolific in Canadian rock history. His first single, "Let Me Take You Dancing", arrived in 1979, a disco-tinged track that Adams would later disown. The real work was just beginning.
