Belgian Grand Prix Packages

The Belgian Grand Prix is held at the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, a track that has been a part of the Formula 1 calendar since its first season in 1950. It’s one of the old-school circuits, a fast, long lap that cuts through the Ardennes forest. Drivers and fans love it because it’s a proper test of skill, not just a procession. You'll be staying for three nights in Liege, which is about an hour's drive from the circuit. There are two hotel options available. The first is the Pentahotel. It’s a smart, contemporary hotel in the city centre. The thinking here is practical and straightforward. You have a comfortable room and a good base from which to get to the track each day. The second option is the Radisson Collection Hotel. This is a more traditional grand hotel, also in the city centre. It’s a different feel from the Pentahotel, built around a more classic style of service and decor.

Weather

In July, Spa typically sees temperatures in the low 20s, offering a pleasant escape from the humidity and heat often encountered at other Formula 1 races. However, it's advisable to be prepared for rainfall during your visit!

Dress code

There's no official dress code at the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps during the Belgian Grand Prix, but it's wise to pack your waterproofs and wear shoes that can handle a bit of mud. With plenty of hills around the circuit and the likelihood of rain, it's best to come prepared!

What is the famous turn at spa-francorchamps?

The famous turn at Spa-Francorchamps is Eau Rouge and Raidillon combination, often collectively referred to simply as "Eau Rouge." This complex is one of the most iconic and challenging corners in motorsport. Eau Rouge-Raidillon Eau Rouge is a left-hand turn at the bottom of a steep downhill section just after the start/finish straight. Raidillon follows immediately, a sharp right-hand uphill sweep that leads onto the Kemmel Straight. The combination of these corners presents a significant challenge due to the elevation change, the blind apex, and the high speeds at which drivers approach it
