Other popular competitions
Formula 1 awards world championships to drivers and constructors. The approved 2027 calendar has 24 Grands Prix across five continents, opening in Bahrain on 12–14 March and closing in Abu Dhabi on 10–12 December. Calendar dates describe the racing weekend; the length of your trip depends on the experience.
What changes for 2027?
The 2026 season has six Sprint weekends. In 2027 there are ten: Bahrain, Australia, Japan, Canada, Monaco, Britain, Italy, São Paulo, Qatar and Abu Dhabi. China, Miami and Singapore return to the standard format. At a Sprint weekend, Friday includes Sprint Qualifying and Saturday includes both the Sprint and Grand Prix Qualifying before Sunday’s Grand Prix.
Madrid hosts the Spanish Grand Prix on 10–12 September 2027. Barcelona-Catalunya is a separate race and next returns in 2028, with its dates still to be announced. Zandvoort is absent from the 2027 calendar. Portugal and Türkiye return, with Türkiye subject to FIA circuit homologation.
Planning your race weekend
The championship calendar covers more races than the experiences available here. Your chosen experience sets out its travel, accommodation and access arrangements; a race appearing on the calendar does not mean a trip is on offer.
Most 2027 race weekends run from Friday to Sunday. Las Vegas runs from Thursday 18 to Saturday 20 November, with the Grand Prix on Saturday. Azerbaijan returns to a Friday–Sunday schedule on 24–26 September. Exact session times and the days covered by your experience remain separate details.
