Edgbaston sits a mile south of Birmingham city centre. It has been Warwickshire's ground since the 1880s and an England Test venue since 1902.

Behind one set of stumps is the Hollies Stand, known for its fancy dress and singing. England have a strong record against Australia at Edgbaston, and the ground hosts the opening Test of the 2027 series.

Hospitality is in the pavilion suites and the boxes around the ground, with lunch and tea during the intervals. New Street station is about fifteen minutes away in the city centre.
