Our best tips

Weather

Monte-Carlo in April sits at the warmer edge of Mediterranean spring, with highs around 19°C and evenings cooling to 11°C. Mostly sunny with the odd shower blowing in off the sea. A light jacket and sunglasses see you through the week.

Smart casual is the typical standard for our hospitality events. Your booking confirmation will include any specific dress requirements.

Getting around

Getting around Monaco & the Riviera

You fly into Nice, then the coast to Monaco

The flights land at Nice and the hotel is in Monaco itself, so the shoreline train or a transfer brings you along the coast.

Monaco stacks up a cliff

The public lifts and escalators shift you between the harbour, the Casino terrace and the gardens faster than a car on the ramps.

Port Hercule and the Casino square are the evening

The harbour quays and the square hold the bars and restaurants; Vieux Nice is a coastal hop for a change of scene.

What our guests say

Don't just take our word for it

Very smooth trip to the Monte Carlo Masters

Very smooth from flight to pick up to check in. Beautiful hotel and gorgeous suite at the Hermitage right in the centre of Monte Carlo. The Gala dinner had fabulous entertainment. A tip for getting back is to walk to the nearest hotel, which for us turned out to be the Meridian, and the chap out the front at a desk will order you a taxi - we only waited 2 mins! At the dinner the food was excellent but the service at the venue was hap-hazard. At the Monte Carlo Masters the lunch was delicious but again the service was chaotic and we had to eat up as the next round of dinners came in as we were finishing. Supposedly the bar at the lunch venue was open for drinks before the match. However the bar staff, who were amenable, were busy with the next round of lunch, the got to us eventually. So hospitality guys at the tennis have a lot to work on but not something ICE could have a lot of control over. The hotel breakfasts were amazing, there were almost more staff than guests at the start of breakfasts, fabulous pool and lovely lobby area for drinks. Another great trip!

Frequently Asked Questions

The clay swing starts here, the season's first real read on who's moved well off the hard courts. Three nights on the Cote d'Azur, reserved seats for the Men's Doubles and Singles Finals, and a double or twin room at the Fairmont. Dining and hospitality on top of the ticket.

Smart for the courtside hospitality, no shorts or sportswear. If your package includes the black-tie gala, that's black-tie proper. We'll confirm the specifics for your chosen package on the call.

Finals weekend play on Court Rainier III typically gets going around midday, with the singles final the headline match on the Sunday. Court Rainier III is open-air, so the schedule moves with the weather.

As early as you can. Finals weekend in Monaco is a small room pool and the Fairmont fills fast, so the further out you ring, the more flexibility we've got on rooms and party size.

Three nights at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, return flights from London with airport coach transfers, your finals tickets for the Sunday, pre-match dining, the Grande Nuit du Tennis gala, and a welcoming drinks reception at Nikki Beach.

Finals tickets, Fairmont rooms, the gala dinner and the Nikki Beach reception are all bundled and sequenced. Piecing it together yourself means chasing four suppliers and hoping the timings line up.
