York Racecourse sits at the Knavesmire, fifteen minutes south of York Minster. The Ebor Festival runs the second week of August, four days, twenty-six races, with the Juddmonte International on Wednesday and the Ebor Handicap on Saturday.

York is the Glorious Goodwood of the North. The dress code is enforced, the lawns are immaculate, and the Wednesday-Saturday card pairs well with a Yorkshire Dales extension. Hospitality moves your guests off the public concourse and into a box or the County Stand, with lunch served through the card.
