India play their first ever Test match, at Lord's against England.

The sixth nation to grace Test cricket, India made Lord's their stage in the summer of 1932.
On 25 June 1932, India became the sixth nation to play Test cricket when they faced England at Lord's. Led by C. K. Nayudu, India were bowled out for 189 and 187, losing by 158 runs. It was a single-Test tour, but it marked the beginning of a cricketing relationship that would span nearly a century.
