Chelsea Flower Show Hospitality Packages

The grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea have been home to the flower show since 1913, so they’ve had a bit of practice. It’s the first big event of the summer season, and it sets a certain tone. You’ll see the expected displays from growers, but the show gardens are the main draw. They are temporary creations, some costing a fortune, and are put together by well-known designers. There are a few ways to approach a day here. The Spring Meridian package is a daytime affair. You get access to the show from 8am, before the general public arrives at 3:30pm. It includes a light breakfast, a three-course lunch, and an open bar. It’s a good way to see the show without the afternoon crowds. For an evening visit, there are two options. The Spring Nocturne Dinner is a more formal choice. It starts in the late afternoon with a champagne and canapé reception. You can explore the showgrounds as the sun sets, and then you have a four-course dinner. The Spring Nocturne Tasting is a lighter alternative. You still get evening access to the show, but instead of a full dinner, there are tasting dishes and drinks served throughout the evening. It’s a more fluid arrangement, allowing you to wander between the gardens and the food stations. Both evening packages give you a few hours to see the gardens and exhibits when they are illuminated, which does change the feel of the place. The crowds are smaller in the evening too. It’s a different way to see the show, and perhaps a bit more relaxed.

In the spring and summer months, the south of the UK enjoys generally mild and pleasant weather, however, we always recommend that our guests prepare for all kinds of weather.

Remember to wear comfortable shoes, as there will be a lot of walking, and to stay hydrated during your visit.

Getting there

To get to the Royal Hospital Chelsea, you can take the London Underground to Sloane Square station, which is on the District and Circle lines. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk. Alternatively, several bus routes, including the 170, 11, and 137, stop nearby.
