Great show and good food but unnecessarily rushed

We attended the Peter Kay show and the Gaucho restuarant beforehand. We liked the product and the booking of it was simple. The hosts in the box at the venue were excellent but the information for downloading the necessary apps for entry to the venue was complicated for me, being a little lacking in technical knowledge. I also felt that the meal beforehand was unnecessarily rushed as the information from ICE said that we had to get into the venue 90 minutes after arriving for the 5pm dinner. We would have happily stayed longer in the restaurant, paying for more drinks and enjoying the ambience rather than rushing up to an empty box in a fairly empty venue at 6.30pm. a full 90 minutes before the show was scheduled to start.

Had an amazing experience through this company which was a lovely gift for my 50th birthday. They took care of me 100% the box where we were seated was spectacular views to see Peter Kay. The meal that went with the show was just wonderful and the service was 2nd to none. Thank you again for all your help and for making this, event a lifetime memory . Peter Kay Hospitality

Peter Kay’s monthly residency at The O2 is his first stand-up tour in twelve years. His last one, back in 2010, remains the biggest-selling comedy tour of all time, which gives you a sense of the draw. The format is direct: just him on stage, talking. His material is built from the small, often-overlooked details of British life, with a lot of it looking back at the seventies, eighties, and nineties. The comedy comes from the shock of recognition, whether it’s a forgotten television advert or a peculiar family habit. It’s less about punchlines and more about the communal feeling in the room. The O2 is a vast arena, so it’s a different sort of evening to a small comedy club. The performance, however, is the same style that made him a household name.

Getting there

If you're travelling by public transport to the O2, take the London Underground to North Greenwich Station on the Jubilee line, which is a short walk from the arena.  Alternatively, you can use various bus routes that serve North Greenwich, including routes 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, and 486. For Taking a taxi to the O2 Arena is also a convenient and comfortable option.
