Wild Malaysia: Eastern & Oriental Express VIP Travel

This five-night tour is organised around a three-night journey on the Eastern & Oriental Express, departing from Singapore. The train travels north into Malaysia, making its first stop at the entrance to Taman Negara National Park. You’ll have the choice of a few excursions here, including a jungle walk with a local naturalist to learn about the area's medicinal plants. From there, the train continues to the island of Penang. The afternoon is for you to explore Georgetown, its colonial history, and its street food stalls. Life onboard the train has its own rhythm. Evenings often start with a cocktail in the piano bar and end in the open-air observation car at the rear of the train, which is a fine place to watch the landscape pass by. There are three cabin options for your journey. The Pullman Cabins feature a sofa that is converted into upper and lower berths by your steward each evening. The State Cabins are a bit larger, with two single beds arranged at ground level. Finally, the Presidential Suite is a large private space with a separate sitting area, bedroom, and a complimentary in-cabin bar.
