Goodwood Festival of Speed Hospitality

The Goodwood Festival of Speed takes over the grounds of the Goodwood Estate for a weekend in July. The centrepiece is a hill climb, where everything from vintage racers to brand-new supercars are driven up the main drive. The atmosphere is that of a large, very English garden party that happens to have some of the world’s most remarkable cars passing through. You have a few ways to approach the day. One is to begin in London, boarding the British Pullman train. You'll have brunch with a Bellini on the way down, arriving at the estate later in the morning. Once there, The Clark Pavilion is a trackside spot which includes a three-course lunch, afternoon tea, and a steady supply of Veuve Clicquot. The Moss Pavilion is another trackside option with food and drink throughout the day. For a slightly different feel, the Speed Library Lawn is presented as a garden party, a little back from the track. All options include access to the various grandstands, so you can wander and find different views of the hill climb throughout the day.

Getting around

Navigating the Goodwood Festival of Speed is a breeze, especially with a hospitality suite that provides everything you need. While you won't need to venture far for food and drink, we highly recommend exploring the paddocks and F1 Pit Lane. Here, you can get up close with the cars, dive into immersive tech experiences, and learn about the future of electric vehicles. There's so much to do and see at Goodwood House!

Getting there

If you choose to drive to Goodwood House, as part of your hospitality package, we will grant you a parking space so you don’t need to worry about paying for a space or reserving one. By train: Should you opt to arrive by train, the closest train station is Chichester. Trains run regularly from London Victoria, Brighton and Portsmouth then you can hop in a taxi or regular shuttle bus to the racecourse.

Weather

Predicting the weather can be a bit difficult during the British summer season. While the south tends to enjoy milder temperatures during the summer, we usually see warmer weather during the Festival of Speed. But if the rain decides to make an appearance, stay warm in our selection of corporate hospitality suites.

Dress code

There is no formal dress code for Goodwood Festival of speed however in the hospitality suites, smart casual attire is required. This is an open air event so we recommend all our clients take an extra layer to be on the safe side.
