Just attended king George day at Ascot with Imperial, without a doubt was the best day of my summer, the function band were amazing as always and the hospitality was amazing! Always a smooth sailing experience with Imperial

King George’s Day at Ascot 2025

Went to King George’s Day at Ascot on 26th July 2025. OMG! Amazing! I come every year and love it. I even feel this was the best one yet. The function band is amazing (a great variety of songs and lots of dancing), the food is excellent and the betting is awesome. Fantastic service from all the ICE staff and waiting staff at Ascot. Will most definitely be booking this again next year.

King George Racing Weekend Hospitality

The King George weekend at Ascot revolves around one of the summer's great races: the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes. It’s the first major clash of the season, where the top three-year-olds, the 'Classic' generation, are pitted against the hardened older horses over a mile and a half. It’s a proper championship race, and for 2026, the £2 million purse makes it the richest in Britain, so you can expect to see some of the best horses from across Europe. You have a couple of different ways to see the day. The Parade Ring Restaurant is exactly where it sounds, with a view over the parade ring. That’s where the horses are saddled and the owners and trainers gather before each race, so you see all the pre-race theatre up close. Another option is The Furlong Club. This is also available as a package that includes live music after the racing has finished, which tends to keep the atmosphere going well into the evening.
