Epsom Derby Festival Hospitality

The Tattenham Straight Marquee is positioned alongside the final straight at Epsom Downs, a part of the course that has become synonymous with the Derby. It’s where the race is so often won or lost. The festival itself is a fixture of the British summer, and this is one of the five Classics of the flat-racing season. Your day in the marquee begins with a Pimm’s reception. That’s followed by a three-course seated lunch, with a menu that draws on British cooking. An inclusive bar serving wine, beer, and soft drinks is open throughout the day. For the racing itself, the marquee has its own private terrace right by the rails. You can step outside to watch the horses thunder past on the final furlong. To help you navigate the day's card, a tipster is on hand to provide some pointers. Later on, there's also afternoon tea and live music.

Dress code

There is no official dress code in the Tattenham Straight Marquee or  the Tattenham Enclosure however some rules do apply! No sportswear, sleeveless vests, or bare tops. Smart denim is welcome, just make sure it’s not frayed, torn, or ripped. Leave your trainers and sportswear at home. Let’s keep the Derby Festival chic and sophisticated—dress to dazzle and enjoy the day in style!

Getting there

By Car - Planning to drive? We can organise a reserved parking space for you. Just let our team know when you book. Epsom Downs Racecourse is conveniently located just off Junction 9 on the M25, and you'll find plenty of AA signs to guide you. Enter KT18 5LQ into your sat nav and you’re on your way! By Train - For a more sustainable travel option, take the train to the racecourse. Catch a train from London Waterloo or London Victoria to Epsom Station, where you can hop into a taxi or take a short 10-minute bus ride. During the Derby Festival, a complimentary shuttle bus will be available to drop you off right at the racecourse. Alternatively, Tattenham Corner Station is a convenient half-mile walk to the racecourse, or you can choose Epsom Downs Station, which is about a mile away. Whichever route you choose, there are plenty of options to get you to the excitement of the Derby Festival.
