The Royal Albert Hall is a grand old building, but it feels completely different when Cirque du Soleil moves in. The entire space is reconfigured for their annual residency, turning the Victorian concert hall into a theatre in the round. It’s a production that’s become a firm fixture in the London calendar. The way to see it is from a private box. You have three options, and the main difference is your point of view. The Grand Tier boxes are on the first level, giving you a direct and involving sightline to the stage. One level up are the Loggia boxes, which are a good choice for a slightly larger group as they seat eight. The highest view is from the Second Tier, offering a wider perspective of the whole performance. Whichever box you choose, you'll have a dedicated waiter. There will be champagne, wine, and canapés waiting for you when you arrive, so you can settle in before the show begins. It’s a far more relaxed way to see a show than finding your seat in the main stalls.

We recommend you arrive with ample time to spare to indulge in the delights of your VIP box. Once the performance begins, you won't have the chance to order drinks until the interval, so we suggest kicking off the evening in style!

Dress code

There's no strict dress code for Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall, allowing guests to attend comfortably. However, if you opt for VIP box hospitality such as a Loggia box for 8 guests, dressing more smartly is always an option, though not a requirement.

Getting there

By Tube - the closest tube stations to the Royal Albert Hall are South Kensington and High Street Kensington. From either station take a 10-15 minute walk to arrive at the beautiful Royal Albert Hall. By Train - The nearest National Rail Stations to the Royal Albert Hall are Victoria and Paddington which both take around 30 minutes to walk from however we suggest taking a bus, tube or taxi.

Night out at the Albert Hall

We had not been to the Albert Hall before so we were unsure what to expect. The staff were very professional and the service in the box was very good. The attentiveness was just at the right level so as not to be intrusive. The performance of Corteo was spectacular and the acrobatics amazing. The drinks and food was very good and more than enough for 4 people.

Our box experience at The Albert

Our box experience at The Albert Hall for a Cirque du Soleil performance couldn’t have been faulted. All 12 of us agreed it was a brilliant experience the moment we entered into it. From our lovely butler to the position of the box in regard to the performance everything was there to make our evening special. The food was varied and delicious and our one vegetarian said the same about hers, the popcorn on our seats and the goody bag all added to us feeling more special than any other spectators. I hope my box for the Eric Clapton concert brings as much pleasure.
