Venice Simplon-Orient-Express in Budapest VIP Travel

The journey begins at the station, where the blue and gold carriages of the train wait. You'll board and find your cabin, a small, private world of polished wood and Art Deco marquetry. A steward, who looks after your carriage, will be on hand. By day, you have a sofa and a window to watch the continent slide past. In the evening, while you are at dinner, your cabin is transformed into a bedroom. The evenings have a formal dress code. You'll see fellow passengers in black tie and evening dresses making their way to one of the dining cars. There is a bar car with a resident pianist, which serves as the social heart of the train. It’s where you’ll find people talking over cocktails. The journey itself has a distinct rhythm, set by the movement of the train. After three nights, the journey concludes as you pull into Budapest.
