This is an American country show in the centre of London, and the VIP ticket changes the geometry of the day. You will arrive at Hyde Park as the afternoon fades, using a separate gate that brings you into a self-contained area away from the main press of the crowd. The space has its own bars serving proper cocktails, a range of food you might find at a good London market, and comfortable seating. It’s a place to settle in, to talk, and to get a drink without a long wait. When the music begins, you can watch from the screens in the enclosure or walk to your dedicated viewing area, which is set with a clear sightline to the stage. As the sun sets behind the trees, you’ll see the stage lights cut through the dusk. You will hear the sound of the whole park singing along, which then turns into a roar as the last chord of a song fades into the night air.
