Royal Ascot is a world-renowned horse racing event that takes place at Ascot Racecourse in Ascot, England. It is one of the most prestigious race meetings in the world and has been held at the same location since 1711.
Royal Ascot 2024 will take place from the 18th to the 22nd June.
Royal Ascot is a formal event and has a strict dress code that is expected to be followed by all attendees. In the Royal Enclosure, the most prestigious area of the racecourse, both men and women are required to dress in a manner befitting of a formal occasion. For men, this means wearing a black, grey or navy attire with a waistcoat and tie, a black or grey top hat, and black shoes. For women, the dress code requires formal daywear, dresses and skirts should be of modest length, with straps that are at least one inch wide and a hat or headpiece that covers the head. In the other enclosures, the dress code is less formal but still smart, with suits, dresses, and hats being the norm.
The five biggest races at Ascot include: St Jame's Palace Stakes (Group 1) 1m, Prince of Wale's Stakes (Group 1) 1m2f, Gold Cup (Group 1) 2m4f, Coronation Stakes (Group 1) 1m and the Diamond Jubilee Stakes (Group 1) 6f.
Royal Ascot takes place over 5 days.
The last race at Royal Ascot over the five days finishes at 6:10pm everyday.

Royal Enclosure Ascot 2022. We visited the above purchasing the tickets from Imperial Events. Imperial has provided us with corporate hospitality for around 15 years visiting all the major sporting events in the UK and abroad from Horse Racing, Golf, Tennis, Rugby, F1 etc etc etc. They are second to none and always come up trumps. In the case of the Royal enclosure is was by far the best days racing ever, even considering we didn't win too much money!! The level of service was exemplary, food outstanding and the vintage champers one of the best ever. My thanks to Emma for her level of service, she really does take care of clients. Thanks again Emma!!!!
Recently attended Ascot Races hosted by Imperial. The organisation prior to the event, attention to detail and attentiveness during the event was second to none. No request was too much trouble and they truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. The team are personable and a pleasure to do business with. I would highly recommend and I’m pleased to have found such a reliable events company.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the Imperial corporate event's team. We attended Royal Ascot " The old Paddock" and were greeted by a lovely hostess with a glass of Prosecco who ensured that my party were truly pampered for the day. Had an excellent view of the races, superb meal and afternoon tea. The complimentary bar was well stocked and we managed to win a few pounds. Excellent event 🥂
Imperial are both customer and employee-focused, making sure that all events supplied are organised in a professional and very friendly manner. I attended Royal Ascot this year on two different days, on different hospitality packages and they were both superb.
I have attended a number of events through ICE this year and they are always exceptionally well organised. Everything runs like clockwork, there is no stress on the day, client relations are super friendly & helpful and I always have great confidence the event is going to be very enjoyable for me personally and a pleasure to attend for my clients. The recent Royal Ascot event was amazing - the location, hospitality and food & drink were second to none and I would highly recommend anyone interested in attending to get in touch with Imperial to book it up asap.
Recently went to Ladies Day at Royal Ascot and had a lovely time. This was a “rollover” from 2020, so a long time coming. Slight hiccup in ticketing but all resolved in time and a lovely day was had by our party of 6.
Been to Royal Ascot with ICE a few times now, and the customer experience is consistently good time after time. Great hostesses, that point you in the right direction, make you welcome & get you settled quickly. A very enjoyable day out!
I attended Ascot races with Imperial, it really was a new experience for me and I was amazed by how well looked after I was. It was a cold day so the luxury marquee with endless drinks and multiple courses was so well received in between races. The service was incredible and I wouldn’t want to do the races any other way!
