Our best tips

Weather

London in December is cold, so dress warmly and bring a coat for the walk between HIDE and the Hall, and again at the end of the night. Check the forecast before you set out.

Dress code

There’s no set dress code, but smart dress is advised for dinner at HIDE and the concert. If you plan to walk to the Hall, comfortable shoes help.

Travel

Make your own way to HIDE at 85 Piccadilly, then on to the Royal Albert Hall: two miles, about 18 minutes by car or a 39-minute walk. South Kensington is the nearest Underground station to the Hall.

Gentle reminder

Bags must be no more than 25 litres, about 40 × 30 × 20cm; larger bags go to the cloakroom. The Hall is cashless. Under-18s must be with an adult, under-5s aren’t admitted, and under-25s need ID to buy alcohol.
