Smart casual is the standard in Premier League hospitality suites. Think collared shirts and smart trousers rather than replica kits. Most venues will turn away guests in sportswear or football shirts.

Getting around
Witton station is the closest, around a ten-minute walk from the ground. Aston station is also nearby. Both are served by regular trains from Birmingham New Street.
Taxis and ride-hailing services are widely available from Birmingham city centre. Allow extra time on match days as traffic around the Aston Expressway builds quickly.
Villa Park is well connected by road, close to junction 6 of the M6. On-site parking is limited, so pre-booking through your ICE events manager is recommended.
Aston Villa and Leeds United share a rivalry forged across more than a century of English football. Both clubs were founding members of the Football League, both scaled the heights of European glory, and both endured painful relegations that tested the faith of their supporters. When they meet at Villa Park, it carries the weight of two proud institutions with long memories and short tempers.

On 21 November 1874, members of the Villa Cross Wesleyan Chapel in Handsworth, Birmingham, formed Aston Villa Football Club. Within a decade they were among the strongest sides in the country, winning the FA Cup in 1887 and becoming a founding member of the Football League in 1888.
Five league titles in seven seasons, then the Double. Victorian Villa were simply on another level.
Villa's Victorian golden age peaked in 1896-97 when they won both the First Division title and the FA Cup, becoming only the second club to achieve the Double. They had already claimed five league championships in seven seasons. Villa Park, their home since 1897, was rapidly becoming one of the grandest grounds in the country.
From scandal to Second Division in a matter of days; Leeds United's story began in chaos.
Leeds City were expelled from the Football League in October 1919 for making illegal payments to players during the First World War. Within days, Leeds United were founded to fill the void, taking over Elland Road and entering the Second Division. It would take them until 1924 to win promotion to the top flight for the first time.
Seven FA Cups for Villa; a decade in the Second Division for Leeds. The gap in 1957 could scarcely have been wider.
Aston Villa won the 1957 FA Cup Final, beating Manchester United 2-1 at Wembley. It was their seventh FA Cup triumph. Leeds, meanwhile, were stuck in the Second Division and had been since 1947. The two clubs were on very different trajectories, though both would soon find their fortunes reversed.
Leeds hoarded 67 points and a title; Villa were already sliding towards the Third Division.
Under Don Revie, Leeds United were transformed from Second Division also-rans into the most formidable side in England. Their 1968-69 title win, amassing 67 points, announced them as a genuine force. Villa, by contrast, had been relegated to the Second Division in 1967 and would drop to the Third Division in 1970 for the first time in their history.
One goal from Peter Withe; one night in Rotterdam that still defines everything Villa have ever been.
On 26 May 1982, Peter Withe scored the only goal as Aston Villa beat Bayern Munich 1-0 in the European Cup Final at De Kuip in Rotterdam. It remains the crowning achievement in the club's history. Villa had won the First Division title the previous season under Ron Saunders, and Tony Barton guided them to European glory. Leeds, relegated in 1982, were heading in the opposite direction.
Leeds arrived as champions; Villa left as nearly men, finishing runners-up in that first Premier League season.
Villa and Leeds were both founding members of the Premier League in 1992. Howard Wilkinson's Leeds had just won the final First Division title in 1991-92, while Villa under Ron Atkinson finished seventh. Their Premier League meetings became regular fixtures through the 1990s, with Villa finishing runners-up in 1992-93 under Atkinson.
Sixteen years away from the top flight; the fall from Champions League semi-finalists to relegated in three seasons remains one of football's starkest cautionary tales.
After reaching the Champions League semi-finals in 2001, Leeds United's reckless spending caught up with them. Relegated from the Premier League in 2004, they would not return for 16 years. Villa stayed in the top flight but endured their own struggles, finishing consistently in the bottom half. The fixture disappeared from the calendar for over a decade.
Grealish ran the show as Villa handed Bielsa's newly-promoted Leeds a 3-0 lesson on their long-awaited return to the top flight.
Marcelo Bielsa guided Leeds back to the Premier League in 2020, and Villa had returned a year earlier under Dean Smith. The fixture was renewed after a long absence. Their October 2020 meeting at Villa Park produced a remarkable 3-0 Villa win, with Jack Grealish pulling the strings. Both clubs were back where they felt they belonged.
Forty-two years on, Villa were back among Europe's elite; Leeds, meanwhile, were still chasing the lift back up.
Under Unai Emery, Aston Villa qualified for the Champions League for the first time since their 1982 triumph, finishing fourth in the 2023-24 Premier League season. Leeds, relegated in 2023, narrowly missed out on promotion via the Championship play-off final. The two clubs' paths diverged sharply once more, though Leeds secured promotion back to the Premier League in 2025.
