St Domingo's becomes Everton Football Club.

A landlord's greed over rent eventually split one club into two.
Founded as St Domingo FC by the congregation of St Domingo Methodist New Connexion Chapel in the Everton district of Liverpool, the club adopted the name Everton in 1879. They initially played at Stanley Park before moving to Priory Road and then Anfield, where a rent dispute with landlord John Houlding would later lead to the creation of Liverpool FC.
