St Domingo's becomes Everton Football Club.

A chapel congregation gave birth to Everton; schoolboys in Tottenham followed four years later.
Founded as St Domingo FC by the congregation of St Domingo Methodist Chapel in 1878, the club adopted the name Everton the following year. They became one of the twelve founding members of the Football League in 1888, winning their first league title in 1891. Spurs, meanwhile, were formed in 1882 by schoolboys in Tottenham, north London.
